According to structure and transmission form, gears can be divided into cylindrical gears, bevel gears, worm gears, planetary gears, helical gears, racks and other categories. Spur cylindrical gears are easy to process and suitable for parallel shaft transmission; helical gears have stable meshing, low vibration and noise, and are often used in medium and high speed transmission equipment; bevel gears are mostly used for power transmission between intersecting shafts, commonly used in differentials, steering mechanisms, etc.; worm drive can achieve large reduction ratio, stable operation, and is suitable for scenes with limited space and high stability requirements; planetary gears have compact structure and strong bearing capacity, widely used in reducers, new energy equipment and other fields. Different types of gears have differences in transmission efficiency, installation mode and bearing capacity. In design and selection, they will be reasonably matched according to transmission direction, speed, load and installation space to achieve ideal use effect.
