Basic Structure and Transmission Principle of Rack
26-03-13
Rack is a linear transmission component, usually matched with gears to form a rack and pinion transmission mechanism, which can convert rotary motion into linear reciprocating motion, or linear motion into rotary motion. Rack is generally a long strip-shaped toothed structure with uniform tooth distribution, and the meshing accuracy with gears directly affects the transmission effect.
During equipment operation, gear rotation drives the rack to move horizontally, or rack movement drives gear rotation to realize power transmission and position adjustment. Rack is widely used in mechanical equipment requiring linear motion, and its tooth profile, module, accuracy, material and other parameters are matched and designed according to load, speed, positioning requirements and so on. Reasonable structure and meshing clearance control can ensure stable transmission, low noise and reliable operation, meeting the transmission and positioning needs of different industries.
